“I have been very satisfied in general over the care that my mother received. Everyone I talked to had an interest in what I had to say and was interested in my mother and every other resident. My mother’s weight was a concern, however, the food was very good at the facility, and she actually gained weight! Everyone at Sheridan Health & Rehab would do extra things and was always willing to help with my mother – look at her before, she could not live without the nitro, and now she is out of bed! She was there for short-term therapy and I am astounded with her care. I am familiar with a long-term setting as my brother had special needs and was living in one and the care here was excellent. There are a lot of patients there that have problems, and all the staff – even the staff that delivered the meals – did a fantastic job. We felt that she was safe at all times and would be comfortable having her there again should the need arise. In addition, the admission process was “burden free”, the facility helped with the paperwork which was a tremendous relief. The community should be proud to have this facility amongst its midst.”

“I wanted to tell you that I really love being at Sheridan Health & Rehab Center. When I first came to Sheridan I was in Rehab, and after that I liked it so well I decided to stay.
I have left Sheridan to try it on my own a few times and I always come back. It’s nice at Sheridan because I have freedom to get out into the community and get some fresh air. The staff is very caring and does a good job taking care of the residents.
Sheridan Health Care residents and staff are like my family. We do a lot of fun activities and go on a lot of outings. I plan to stay for now and enjoy the rest of my life.
I really like the whole atmosphere at Sheridan, it’s a place where you can be safe and have a good time.”

To the nursing staff, aids, therapists, and everyone who in one way or another has attended to my husband while he was in your care, my family and I, his family too, wish to express our gratitude and appreciation for all the attention you’ve given him. We know you’ve done eve everything possible to help him get on his feet and we are so happy to have him back home, instead he went home to a place where he is free from all pains and sufferings. It has been a long and winding road for all of us, but we know God has his own purpose so we’ll go on and face tomorrow and the next.
